The
purposes of the APMA are:To promote the general welfare of allergen product manufacturers
To enhance the contributions of allergen product manufacturers to the public welfare
To cooperate with federal, state, and local agencies with responsibilities in the area of allergy
To encourage public acceptance of the industries products
To develop and assist in the development of industry standards
To gather, as appropriate, statistics relating to the industry
To carry out such other lawful trade association activities as the Board of Directors may from time to timedirect
There are two categories of membership: Member, and Associate Member. Members consist of business establishments that hold a United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) license to manufacture allergenic products. Associate Membership status consists of business establishments that are not eligible to hold an FDA licenses, but attend plenary meetings.
